Is Hypnosis right for me & what is it anyway?

If you are still reading then yes there's a good chance it is right for you.

First, let's debunk some of the myths around hypnosis.

1) You are ALWAYS in control.

Some people fear that they will be completely out of control, off somewhere and unaware of themselves or their bodies.  This is not true in a professional client and therapist session, it is not anything like stage hypnosis, I will not make you coo like a pigeon when someone calls your name unless you want to haha ;-)

2) You do not "go under" or into a trance, as I said you are in total control, and totally aware of your surroundings.

3) It does not have anything to do with the supernatural, or black magic.  We will not be communicating with the other side, it is not evil but of course please check with your own religious beliefs.

4) Not all hypnotherapists do past life regression, this is not something I offer.

5) I can't be hypnotized.  We are in hypnosis while watching the news, watching a film or TV, and even while driving (how many times have you wondered how you got somewhere?).

6) A hypnotherapist will not make you confess to anything.  It is also safe for anyone from the armed forces to attend private hypnosis sessions.
